No day is complete without a taste of Turkey's grand cuisine...

Turkish culinary culture is renowned for its diversity of resources, fresh ingredients and variety of recipes that were influenced by Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Experience Turkish cuisine, one of the most diverse and most delicious culinary cultures of the world, at an award-winning culinary event, Turkish Restaurant Week.

Organized by The American-Turkish Association of Washington D.C. (ATA-DC), the seventh Annual Turkish Restaurant Week is a week-long celebration of Turkish cuisine. The event will take place from Saturday, September 12 through Sunday, September 20, 2015 during the fourth Turkish Heritage Month.

During Turkish Restaurant Week, diners will enjoy this rich and authentic cuisine with a special three-course prix fixe lunch ($18) and four-course prix fixe dinner ($30) at Washington’s top Turkish restaurants in Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. The most outstanding Turkish restaurants will offer their culinary arts and specialties for foodies in the D/M/V area.

Turkish Restaurant Week participants this year can win exciting raffle gifts including a special Turkish coffee set designed by famous Turkish painter, Ismail Acar, as a courtesy of Turkey’s leading electrical appliances brand, Arzum.
